Kimjoux Bespoke Jewellery

What Is Bespoke Jewellery?

Bespoke jewellery is perfect for those wanting something unique and special. Or those who have a particular design, or idea in mind. It allows you to add those extra personal details such as an engraving, monogram or special gemstone, thus becoming your own modern heirloom.

Bespoke fine jewellery is a very special thing, it allows you to embody your personality and character within the metal and gemstones. It can mark your biggest celebrations and milestones, and become a way to connect with future generations.

Why Should I Purchase Bespoke Jewellery?

Purchasing bespoke jewellery allows you to create unique and emotive jewellery that goes the next step.

Some people enjoy purchasing bespoke jewellery for themselves, to celebrate an achievement, mark a special occasion or milestone or even to just treat themselves (all of us deserve a treat now and again). They may enjoy being able to elevate their jewellery to the next level by adding engravings or hand-picked gemstones or love a metal colour and want their pieces to stick to their personal style.

Bespoke Jewellery With Kimjoux

There are several ways we can help you create bespoke jewellery with Kimjoux, one of them being our award-winning ‘Designed by You’ concept. This easy-to-use feature benefits from clear price transparency and being very quick and easy to use, perfect for those with busy lives.

Design-by-You:

- Choose the stone, and add it to the cart.

- Choose the mount design, and add it to the cart.

- Add any comment you may have such as gift item, delivery deadline, etc.

- Place the order, you will see the total price at this point.

- We will contact you within 3 working days with the exact design of your item.

Why do we do this? We do this so you receive a clear final image of your design, and know what you will be receiving.

- You get back to us with any comments or a confirmation.

- If you have any comments we will amend the design until your confirmation.

- We will start making your item within 2 days of receiving your confirmation.

Questionnaire:

If you are looking for something a bit more personal, or do not have enough time to book a consultation, you will find our gifting questionnaire useful! It is also simple and fun to use. All you need to do is fill in a couple of base questions, and then a few about the gift and who it is for, such as their lifestyle and fashion style, favourite colour and what the occasion is. We will then create a proposal with a few choices of designs to present to you.

At this point, you will be able to discuss with us any amendments or extra details you would like to add. We will go away and work with your requests to produce the final designs. Once you approve, it will be sent to be handcrafted by our talented craftsmen. Within 4-5 weeks you will have your precious jewellery in your hands!

If you would like to make this experience even more special, we are pleased to offer gifting packages! Our Deluxe package includes a bespoke card created just for you that holds the final designs, our Elevated package includes as before, plus a silver sample provided in gift-ready packaging. And if you are wanting a real VIP service our Premium package includes a curated list of experiences to make everyone delighted!

Or simply, book a private consultation with us either on Zoom or in person in our London office and we can discuss designs and ideas together! Kimjoux is the destination for modern heirlooms.

Whatever option you choose, here is the standard procedure:

- We will send you the final design sketch for you to approve, at this point you can add any comments etc.

- The final cost will be clearly stated in our proposal sent to you.

- Production will start 2-3 days after we receive your confirmation, so do not wait around to approve it!

- Standard lead-time is 4-5 weeks to make and deliver to you, depending on your location.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do You Have Gemstones Available for Me to Look At?

Yes, we do, please contact us to view them in person or by Zoom! We also have a selection of ethical gemstones on our website, but they often sell out quickly. We will be adding some more soon, so be sure to subscribe to us so you don’t miss out!

Where Are You Based?

We are based in London; you can use the link here to book a private consultation in person or virtually!

Do You Ship Worldwide?

Yes, we can ship worldwide, we often work with clients in the US, Europe and Asia.

What Diamond Shape Should I Use?

Round diamonds are the most popular diamond shape, however, there are lots of beautiful cuts to choose from, check out our blog about diamond cuts here! Depending on what you want to create we can work with a variety of cuts, which we can discuss in more detail in our private consultation.

How long does it take?

This depends on the design and the specific requirements. Sometimes certain rarer gemstones can take longer to source, or equally, we may be able to source your gemstones quickly. All of our jewellery is handmade by talented craftsmen, with technical skills that take years to master, this also means more time goes into creating your customised fine jewellery.

Can you find my perfect gemstone quickly?

As you know, natural gemstones are unique and can be rare to find. We have a trusted network of suppliers worldwide, but rarer stones can take longer to source still. There are many instances where I was able to find the perfect pair of fancy shape diamonds (which can be very tricky) quickly, but we never know until we know the specifics of what we are looking for.

Can you rush the order?

We endeavour to meet your requirements in the best possible timeframe. When you confirm the order, always make us aware of any deadline you have for it. Depending on our current working schedule and workload, we will rush your order at best we can. We will let you know within 3-4 working days whether or not the deadline is possible for us to do.

Our standard delivery time is 4-5 weeks after you confirm the order.

We hope this blog helps answer any questions or queries you had about bespoke jewellery and the process behind creating it, we also hope we have inspired you to create something special for yourself or a loved one!
