While the cool, smooth lines and innovation transport us back to a time when the world was swinging to a ragtime beat, the range actually features a clever, time-saving clasp that’s hidden in plain view.
The lock is an integral part of the design, but it’s also been created to offer the optimum in wearing ease; the lock is positioned at the front to make it quicker to close. Jewellery engineering, smooth precious metals and a pioneering slide lock have been brought together to make a clasp that is fuss and fiddle-free, but that adds to the pieces. So often, the clasp mechanism is an afterthought or tucked away from sight. The Poize lock is what makes this collection so very special.
Often, gemstones and beads are added to design pieces which have a deeply meaningful significance. With Poize, our choice of colourful beads is no less considered but the focus is very firmly placed on fun and positivity. We have put colours and skillfully shaped beads together in order to create a piece that will make the wearer feel positive and confident, both in what they’re wearing and in their outlook. Whereas some collections seek to offer a sparkle or create a huge dazzle, Poize coloured beads are selected to make the wearer and their audience smile.

Community and the Modern Muse
Kimjoux’s Poize collection brings cool, smooth lines, innovation and a healthy dose of 1920s inspiration together in one fabulous range.
The collection was named in a competition, which was won by respected artist, Lauren
Baker. Lauren is well known for her bold and vibrant art that radiates strength and energy,
making her the perfect choice to capture the essence – and the power - of the collection in
one single word.
Kimjoux founder, Trang Do, instinctively knew that she could call on the Kimjoux community
to name her collection and the outcome didn’t disappoint.
Trang said “I could tell that our community would connect with this collection and asking
them to help us to name it makes them a part of the Poize story. It is a perfect name – it
encapsulates what we were trying to achieve when in design. It’s just the right amount of
edgy and it shows the Kimjoux woman for all that she is – strong, confident but not afraid to
focus on life’s finer detail.”
